UB – Dr. Antoni Esteve i Subirana Chair for Research in Pharmacology
In memory of Dr. Antoni Esteve i Subirana, who contributed to modern therapeutics through research, scientific discussion, and publications, the Dr. Antoni Esteve Foundation is dedicated to promoting research in pharmacology.
This commitment aligns with the strategic vision and research trajectory of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Barcelona (UB), a leader in research in pharmacology and the pharmaceutical sciences.
This convergence was a key factor in establishing the UB – Dr. Antoni Esteve i Subirana Chair, a project in which the Foundation and the UB come together to create a collaborative space for scientists to conduct their research and transfer knowledge.
Objective of the Chair
The UB – Dr. Antoni Esteve i Subirana Chair for Research in Pharmacology seeks to promote research and serve as a hub for researchers.
It aims to become a meeting point, stimulating open and innovative scientific debate through events such as conferences, congresses, roundtables, and workshops.
Another goal is to create opportunities that can attract young talent by supporting research and recognizing excellence.
Finally, the Chair promotes publications targeting pharmacology experts.
