The Department of Pharmacology, Toxicology and Therapeutic Chemistry of the University of Barcelona has just opened the call to provide a postdoctoral researcher contract within the framework of the Chair UB – Dr. Antoni Esteve i Subirana of Pharmacology Research.
A PhD in the field of pharmacology is sought to develop a research project in neuropharmacology or pharmacology of metabolism and also to participate in the different activities and publications of this Chair.
Their duties include designing and conducting experiments to investigate pharmacological mechanisms, analyzing data, writing and publishing scientific articles, and keeping up to date with the most recent advances in the field of pharmacology, among others.
The duration of the contract will be one year, with the possibility of renewal depending on budget availability, and would begin on April 1, 2025. As for the call, you will find all the information at the University of Barcelona’s website. The deadline for submitting applications ends on March 6.
The Chair UB – Dr. Antoni Esteve i Subirana for Research in Pharmacology was presented on December 4, 2024 at the Historic Building of the UB. Its objective is to promote research and knowledge transfer in the areas of basic, clinical and social pharmacology. Among his first performances are the round table by Dr. Alessio Ciulli on the targeted degradation of proteins or the conference by Dr. Carlos Fernández de Larrea on treatment with CAR-T cells.
